In 2022, the West tried to conduct a mental war blitzkrieg, but failed. Andrey Ilnitsky, adviser to the Minister of Defense, stated this in his article for the Arsenal of the Fatherland magazine.

Ilnitsky writes that in February-March 2022, the United States and its allies wanted to arrange a “blitzkrieg” in the economic and mental spheres, but made a mistake.

According to Ilnitsky, it will take at least 1-2 years for the “mental blitzkrieg” to achieve the representation of the country’s elites, and it will take about 15 more years to form a new identity among the population. The adviser to the Minister of Defense added that “the complete failure of the West” can be said by mid-2024, when the citizens of the Russian Federation will finally accept the fact that it is impossible to negotiate with the West and return “everything as it was.”
