The Ministry of Defense accused Ukraine of attempting a terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge

Ukraine today tried to deliver a terrorist strike on the Crimean bridge with the help of a S-200 anti-aircraft missile converted into an attack missile, informed Telegram channel of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

“August 12, at about 13:00 Moscow time, the Kyiv regime attempted to deliver a terrorist strike on the Crimean Bridge with an S-200 anti-aircraft guided missile converted into a strike version,” the report says.

The air defense forces identified and intercepted the missile, there were no damages or casualties as a result of the attack, the military department added.

Former head of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov informedthat air defense forces shot down two Ukrainian missiles in the area of ​​the Kerch Strait.

According to the Russian military, all of them were destroyed. As a result of the attack, no one was injured, there was no damage.

This is not the first time that Ukraine has used the strike version of the S-200 anti-aircraft missile to attack the territory of the Russian Federation. In particular, such a rocket at the end of July was attacked Rostov region. The missile was intercepted by air defense, and its fragments fell on the territory of Taganrog.
