The Minister of Defense of Ukraine announced the arrival of a new batch of M270 MLRS

A new batch of M270 multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) from the UK has been delivered to Ukraine, Minister of Defense of the Republic Oleksiy Reznikov wrote on his Twitter.
“The UK promised, the UK delivered. Even more MLRS M270 arrived in Ukraine. New ‘gifts’ will arrive soon,” he wrote.
In June, British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace announced that the kingdom would transfer American-made M270 MLRS to Ukraine with missiles capable of hitting targets at a distance of up to 80 km. The first MLRS arrived in Ukraine in mid-July.
At the same time, Wallace said that the UK planned to send dozens of artillery pieces, 1,600 anti-tank weapons, and 50,000 artillery shells to Ukraine.
On February 24, Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine. Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the purpose of the special operation is to protect the inhabitants of Donbass, as well as the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine. Ukraine, in turn, introduced martial law and announced mobilization.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov noted that by pumping weapons to Ukraine, Western countries do not allow the country to take constructive steps and do not allow Ukraine to negotiate with Russia.
