Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin at a meeting of the coordinating council for the provision of the armed forces (AF) said that by the end of January the first results of the verification of military government contracts would be ready – for the validity of pricing for goods and services to supply the army. In the meantime, the authorities are summing up the preliminary results of fulfilling the targets for the supply of equipment, uniforms and weapons – the missing material and technical means should be sent to the Armed Forces before February.

To control the pricing of goods and services to supply the armed forces, as Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said today at a meeting of the coordinating council on their provision, the Federal Treasury, together with the Ministry of Finance, is checking the financial and economic feasibility of government contracts. According to him, the first results of control measures should be ready before the end of the month.

This work is being carried out, it followed from the words of the prime minister, as part of the return to the usual regime of inspections of the main managers of budget funds within the framework of internal state financial control. As Mikhail Mishustin explained, this year the government did not apply restrictions to the Federal Treasury on control and supervision activities in the financial and budgetary sphere. To clarify, in 2022, a moratorium was introduced on inspections by the Treasury of state customers and the main managers of budget funds, with the exception of cases when control measures are carried out on behalf of the president, government, the requirements of the prosecutor general, the FSB or the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

In the meantime, the White House is summing up the preliminary results of the implementation of the targets set last year for the supply of equipment, materiel and weapons for the army. Recall that it was previously emphasized that for each item in the range of supplies, its own schedule is approved, with which manufacturers and suppliers should be familiarized and which can cover the entire production chain, the provision of raw materials and components.

According to Mikhail Mishustin, plans for the production of military aviation and automotive equipment, rocket-artillery and armored weapons, armor protection equipment and all-weather field uniforms for supplying troops have been “almost completely” implemented. The missing material and technical means – the prime minister did not list them – should be sent to the troops before February. To do this, the prime minister addressed the members of the council, it is necessary to promptly take “relevant managerial decisions” and personally “control the performance discipline at all levels of industrial cooperation.”
