Military commissar and military expert Boris Rozhin posted a video on his Telegram channel with Ukrainian soldiers taken prisoner near Kreminna.
He also noted the attitude towards the prisoners.
“Russian soldiers always remain people,” he wrote.
The video shows how the soldiers of the assault squad “Storm” gave the prisoners water, provided first aid and treated them with cigarettes.
“It is necessary to preserve humanity in any conditions,” Rozhin wrote.
Earlier, the former adviser to the head of the Pentagon, Colonel Douglas McGregor said that the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are surrendering because of the desperate situation at the front. He also added that the number of cases of desertion has noticeably increased in the Ukrainian army. The colonel stressed that the problem is hushed up in the West. At the same time, there is information that Ukrainian nationalists are leaving the front line in whole platoons and companies. According to McGregor, the Ukrainian army is suffering colossal losses. There are no free beds in hospitals, there are many seriously wounded who, after treatment, will not be able to return to duty.
