Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold a meeting with representatives of domestic business on the evening of November 15, reported RIA Novosti agency citing sources.
Earlier on November 10, presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov saidthat the date of the meeting between Putin and business will be announced later. On November 15, Peskov announced a meeting with members of the Central Election Commission and chairmen of election commissions of the constituent entities of Russia. Also, according to him, awards will be given to figures associated with the electoral system. “Other events will be non-public,” he said.
The previous time Putin met with business representatives was on May 26, Entrepreneur’s Day, at the annual forum of the public organization Business Russia.
This year, the head of state also met with business representatives at the RUIE congress on March 16. This was the first meeting of the head of state with representatives of the business community since February 2022. The leitmotif of the congress was the theme of “partnership relations” between business and the state, “excellent” results of companies over the past year and “constructive interaction” on financial issues. Putin praised Russian business leaders who, in a short time and under conditions of serious external pressure, managed to rebuild investment and trade chains, established logistics routes, and opened new areas for cooperation and collaboration with predictable, conscientious foreign partners.
