The mayor of Donetsk announced the shelling of the city center

The Ukrainian military fired at the center of Donetsk from multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) “Grad”, informed mayor of the city Alexei Kulemzin in his Telegram channel.
“The very center of Donetsk is again under fire from Ukrainian fascists. It is reported about the arrivals of ten missiles from the BM-21 Grad MLRS,” he wrote.
According to the head of the city, hits were recorded in the buildings of the Centaurus Plaza and the Druzhba Palace of Culture, the area of the Donbass Arena and the Covered Market. In addition, residential buildings along the street of the 50th anniversary of the USSR, buildings of the 7th building of DonNTU and the Donetsk Republican Art Museum, as well as several cars and stalls were damaged.
By information RIA Novosti, an Orthodox church in the city center was also damaged. How clarifies TASS, people were found under the rubble of one of the residential buildings, the number of victims is being specified.
Yesterday, December 5, the Armed Forces of Ukraine shelled the Voroshilovsky and Kyiv districts of Donetsk, Kulemzin reported, as a result of which four civilians were killed, four more were hospitalized.
On October 19, by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, martial law was introduced in the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. In addition, a medium level of response was introduced in eight border regions, including Crimea, Sevastopol, Belgorod and Kursk regions, and in all other regions of Russia – a basic alert regime.
