The mayor of Donetsk announced the death of a child during shelling

During the shelling of Donetsk by the Ukrainian army, a girl born in 2019 died, the mayor of the city Oleksiy Kulemzin said.

“A girl born in 2019 died. An enemy shell flew into the Petrovsky district on the street. Osoaviahima, – wrote the mayor in his Telegram channel.

Later Kulemzin informedthat a woman born in 1952 also died as a result of the shelling, her body is still under the rubble. In addition, it is known about the injured man and woman.

August 6, Acting Head of the DPR Denis Pushilin informed about the shelling of Donetsk with cluster shells. He specified that 40 attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine were recorded during the day, as a result of which five people were injured of varying severity, civilian infrastructure was damaged.

Donetsk region is regularly shelled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. On September 30, 2022, the region, along with the LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, became part of Russia. On October 19 of the same year, martial law was introduced in the annexed regions.
