The LNR reported on the equipment of firing points of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of ​​Chasov Yar

The Armed Forces of Ukraine are building fortifications and strengthening positions in the Chasov Yar area in the DPR. This was announced by Lieutenant Colonel of the People’s Militia of the LPR, retired Andrey Marochko, transmits TASS.

“The armed formations of Ukraine are reinforcing old and building new fortifications, are working on equipping firing points, and are also putting up minefields,” he said, citing intelligence data. Marochko specified that Ukrainian troops are deploying additional forces to the area of ​​this settlement.

Chasov Yar is a city in the DPR. It is located not far from Artemovsk, which is now being fought over. Earlier, the acting head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, announced the gradual completion of the operational encirclement of Artemovsk. January 25 he notedthat the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are fighting in the quarters of the city, which until recently were under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

January 27 about the imminent encirclement of Artemovsk informed commander of the special forces “Akhmat” Apty Alaudinov. According to him, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have only one route left, along which “they can more or less move.”
