According to the text of the document, the employees of the abolished agency will continue to perform their duties, including those related to ensuring the liquidation of Rostourism before being released in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation.
It is reported that Grigory Prokuronov, deputy head of Rostourism, has been appointed chairman of the liquidation commission. The commission will include representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development, the Federal Treasury, the Federal Property Management Agency, the Federal Archives and the abolished Rostourism. The Ministry of Economic Development will approve the composition of the liquidation commission within a week.
Within a month, the department must approve the estimate of expenses for the liquidation of the agency presented by Mr. Prokuronov and coordinate it with the Russian Ministry of Finance. The document also provides for the procedure for the chairman of the commission to carry out liquidation activities.
On November 3, the temporary curator of tourism at the Ministry of Economic Development was appointed Dmitry Vakhrukov, who previously served as deputy minister in the department.
Rostourism was abolished Decree of the President of Russia on October 20. The functions of the agency were transferred to the Ministry of Economic Development.
