The leaders of Myanmar, Armenia and Mongolia will come to the WEF

Plenary session of the Eastern Economic Forum (WEFPrime Minister of the Interim Government of Myanmar Min Aung Hlein, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, Prime Minister of Mongolia Luvsannamsrein Oyun-Erdene and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress Li Zhanshu will visit together with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Putin to speak at plenary session in Vladivostok WEF September 7th. The topic of the forum this year is “Towards a multipolar world,” the Kremlin said. Representatives of Malaysia and India will address the participants of the session with video greetings.

“During the day, bilateral meetings of Vladimir Putin with foreign leaders invited to the EEF-2022 are also planned. An exchange of views will take place on topical issues on the bilateral and regional agenda,” the Kremlin added.

On September 6, the President will get acquainted with the course of the Vostok-2022 military strategic command and staff exercises and hold an expanded meeting of the State Council Presidium on the development of the national tourism industry in modern conditions.

Delegations of a number of countries unfriendly to Russia will visit WEF this year, in particular, we are talking about Japan and South Korea, said Alexei Chekunkov, head of the Ministry for the Development of the Far East.

VII Eastern Economic Forum will be held on September 5–8, 2022 on the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University in Vladivostok, the forum organizer is the Roscongress Foundation. At the beginning of August, representatives of 40 countries confirmed their participation in it, said Anton Kobyakov, executive secretary of the WEF organizing committee. In 2021, the event brought together more than 4,000 participants from 58 countries, 380 agreements worth about 3 trillion rubles were signed on the sidelines of the forum.
