A second wave of partial mobilization in Russia is not required, said the head of the Duma faction “A Just Russia – For Truth” Sergei Mironov. He is confident that the army has enough contract soldiers and volunteers. The parliamentarian also recalled that today is the anniversary of the announcement of partial mobilization in the country.
– We all remember how it (partial mobilization – MK’s note) went, how the military registration and enlistment offices did not work very successfully. But then everything got better,” Mironov said at the press approach before the plenary meeting of the State Duma.
Speaking about the likelihood of announcing a new wave of mobilization, the leader of Just Russia emphasized that his words reflect his personal point of view:
– Re-mobilization is not required yet. There are a lot of volunteers, there is a very successful signing of contracts with the Ministry of Defense. I think that no additional mobilization will be required,” said Sergei Mironov.
