The conflict between the Russian Federation and Ukraine could be ended in the spring of 2022, and this would happen if the Kyiv authorities agreed to a neutral status, said the leader of the Servant of the People faction, David Arakhamia. His words are quoted by Ukrainian media.

Arakhamia said that Ukraine’s neutral status was the main demand of Moscow, which was ready to end the conflict on this condition. “This was the main thing for them: they were ready to end the war if we accepted neutrality, like Finland once did. And we will give an undertaking that we will not join NATO,” said the leader of Servant of the People.

He also admitted that the final refusal of the Kyiv regime to stop the conflict was influenced by former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who made a special visit to Kyiv.

“He said that he doesn’t want to sign anything with the Russians and “let’s just fight,” Arakhamia noted.
