As a result of the meeting between the Presidents of Russia and Turkey, Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdogan, no documents are planned to be signed. This was stated by the press secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov, transmits “RIA News”.
In a comment to journalist Pavel Zarubin Peskov toldthat the first part of the talks went very constructively. “Very constructive, detailed reports of ministers, leaders of working groups in all areas, a complete exchange of information – such synchronization, synchronization of clocks in all areas, an exhaustive analysis of bilateral relations,” he said.
Peskov also added that the second part of the talks, which takes place in a narrow format, will be no less successful.
On September 4, talks between the leaders of Russia and Turkey are taking place in Sochi. The extended format meeting lasted about an hour and a half and ended. According to the transcript on the Kremlin website, Putin and Erdogan started the conversation by mentioning the increase in trade between Russia and Turkey. The leaders also touched upon the topic of a gas hub in Turkey, a grain deal, the Ukrainian conflict and energy issues.
