Peskov called negotiations on Ukraine without Russia pointless

Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov said that without Russia’s participation the negotiations make no sense. This is how he commented on the holding of a conference on Ukraine in Switzerland in June.

According to him, the negotiation process without Russia is meaningless and will be wasted. Vladimir Putin has repeatedly said that Russia is always open to negotiations.

Peskov noted that negotiations are the preferable option for solving problems in Ukraine. However, Russia does not see any prospects for discussing the Ukrainian issue, since Kyiv itself has banned any peace negotiations with Moscow.
