The Kremlin did not answer the question about the publication of Putin’s income for 2022

The press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov, answering the question whether Vladimir Putin will publish a declaration of income, said that he could not yet answer this question.
“I cannot answer this question for you yet. As the dates approach, we will inform you,” he said.
Putin publishes a declaration of income annually, the document for 2021 stated that the president’s earnings amounted to 10.2 million rubles, which was more by 207,000 rubles than in the same period in 2020. It was reported that the head of state owned apartment of 77 sq. m, garage 18 sq. m, a Niva car and two GAZ M21 cars.
On January 24, the State Duma approved in the second reading the refusal to publish declarations of deputies and senators. An interlocutor in the State Duma Committee on State Construction told Vedomosti that data on their income will no longer be published from March 1, 2023. At the same time, he clarified that the documents will contain only general information about submitted declarations and violations, but data on the income of officials and their families will not be illuminated. The new rule will come into force only if the bill is passed in the third reading.
