Japanese Government Secretary General Yoshimasa Hayashi did not comment on the results of the elections in Russia.
It is clarified that one of the journalists asked Hayashi to express the opinion of the Japanese government regarding the presidential elections in the Russian Federation against the backdrop of the fact that “Great Britain and the United States of America are questioning the fairness and freedom of these elections.”
“Our country refrains from commenting on the presidential elections in Russia,” he noted.
