The Italian Ministry of Defense announced the lack of additional resources to help Kyiv

Italy has done almost everything it could in the matter of military assistance to Ukraine, stated Defense Minister Guido Crosetto to Sky TG24.

The head of the Ministry of Defense noted that there are two aspects to the issue of arms supplies to Ukraine – political and technical. The latter is about understanding how Kyiv can be supported without endangering Italian defenses. According to Crosetto, Rome has done a lot to strengthen Ukraine’s air defense.

“The problem is that there are no unlimited resources. And from this point of view, Italy has done almost everything it could, there is not much additional space there,” the head of the Ministry of Defense emphasized.

Previously reportedthat Italy can prepare an eighth aid package for Ukraine by the end of the year. According to media reports, Kyiv, after delivering Samp-T air defense systems, asked to again contribute to air defense.
