The Israeli Foreign Ministry announced that it had summoned the Russian ambassador because of Hamas’s visit to Moscow.

The Israeli Foreign Ministry reported that Russian Ambassador Anatoly Viktorov was summoned to the Israeli Foreign Ministry in connection with the visit of a delegation of the Palestinian Hamas movement to Moscow.

Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry confirmed that Hamas representatives were visiting Moscow. At a meeting with representatives of the movement, according to Russian diplomats, the release of hostages and the evacuation of Russian citizens from the Gaza Strip were discussed.
