Police in the German town of Witten in North Rhine-Westphalia reported that an Israeli flag raised in the village was torn down twice in a short period of time.
The first incident occurred on the night of October 12-13. Surveillance cameras recorded a man with dark hair and light-colored clothing tearing down and stealing the flag. The identity of the perpetrator has not yet been established.
Then, at 11 a.m. on October 13, unknown persons again tore down the raised flag, but this time they left it in place.
According to Bild, a similar incident also occurred in the city of Leverkusen.
