The International Red Cross is looking for missing Russians in Ukraine

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is looking for Russian citizens who disappeared on the territory of Ukraine, the head of the organization’s delegation in Moscow, Boris Michel, said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
According to him, he receives requests from Russian authorities constantly and regularly, including from the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation, Tatyana Moskalkova.
“We are doing the necessary work and interacting with families as much as possible,” Michel said.
He also recalled the opening of hotlines by the ICRC, through which requests to find people are accepted. According to Michel, there are currently 13 thousand requests in progress, both for Russians and Ukrainians.
Michel also reported on contacts in this area with the office of the Presidential Commissioner for Children’s Rights, Maria Lvova-Belova.
