Experts from the Valdai Discussion Club prepared an analytical report for the meeting, “Certificate of Maturation, or an Order that has never existed before. Among the topics that club members plan to discuss over four days are “the role of nuclear weapons and the danger of war with their use,” “food security and Russia’s contribution,” “a world economy without a currency monopoly and punitive measures,” as well as “energy markets.” against the backdrop of military-political tension,” etc. A total of 17 sessions have been announced.

This year’s meeting of the Valdai Discussion Club is planned from October 2 to October 5 in Sochi. The theme of the event, according to information on the website, will be “Fair multipolarity: how to ensure security and development for all.” Earlier, a journalist from the Kremlin pool Pavel Zarubin reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin will speak at the Valdai meeting in Sochi.

In total, 140 experts from 42 countries will take part in the meeting, including from the USA, Europe, Japan, India, Iran, South Africa, etc. It is expected that several officials from the Russian side will take part in the meetings, including Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
