The Israeli army announced the seizure of control over Al-Shujaiya in the Gaza Strip
The Israel Defense Forces said that IDF units had taken control of Shujaiya, which was considered one of the main Hamas strongholds in the Gaza Strip.
The units will remain in Shujayim to conduct targeted operations, the IDF press service said.
