The International Criminal Court is headed by a judge who issued an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin in 2023.
From a statement published on the court’s website it follows that the post was taken by 67-year-old Tomoko Akane.
It is also reported that her deputies were Rosario Salvatore Aitala and Rein Alapini-Gansu. Members of the International Criminal Court are elected for a term of 3 years.
Let us recall that earlier the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov once again stated that Moscow does not recognize the decision of the International Criminal Court.
