The heads of the Kirov and Novgorod regions scored more than 70% in the elections

Acting Governor of the Kirov Region Alexander Sokolov won 72.13% of the vote after counting 95% of the protocols. In the Novgorod region, acting governor Andrei Nikitin won 76.97% of the votes based on the results of processing 99.25% of the ballots. This was reported on the online scoreboard in the information center of the CEC.
The second place in terms of the number of votes in the Kirov region is occupied by the candidate from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Sergey Mamaev, who scored 13.34% of the vote. The candidate from the same party in the Novgorod region, Olga Efimova, also took second place – she scored 11.07% of the vote. In the Kirov region, the elections lasted two days (September 10 and 11), with a turnout of 35.85%. In the Novgorod region, voting lasted three days with a turnout of 29.77%.
