Currently, the task of equipping the first missile regiment with the Sarmat complex at the head facility of the Strategic Missile Forces is being solved,” said the head of the Ministry of Defense.
Sarmat is a Russian fifth-generation silo-based strategic missile system with a heavy multi-stage liquid-propelled ICBM. Flight range – 16 thousand km, payload – 5 tons. “Sarmat” is intended to replace the Soviet R-36M2 “Voevoda” missiles.
The general director of Krasmash JSC, in turn, announced the expansion of the enterprise’s production capacity and equipping it with modern technological equipment. According to him, a new machining production building with an area of 18 thousand square meters will soon be put into operation. m. It will provide 300 jobs.
