The head of the Ministry of Eastern Development promised to expand Far Eastern mortgages by the end of the year

The upper limit for loans for Far Eastern mortgages will be increased to 9 million rubles. until the new Year. By the same date, it is planned to expand the mortgage coverage to all employees of defense industry enterprises in the Far East, said the head of the Ministry of Eastern Development Alexey Chekunkov.

“We will do this before the New Year. Far Eastern mortgage is the most important program for all Far Eastern residents and businesses. It allowed us to double the pace of housing commissioning – the more housing, the lower the prices, the lower the prices, the higher the demand, and so on,” Mr. Chekunkov told reporters (quoted by TASS).

These changes offered made by Russian President Vladimir Putin during a speech at the Eastern Economic Forum. According to him, thanks to this, families will have more opportunities to choose an apartment on the primary market or to build a house.

Far Eastern mortgages in December 2022 were extended until 2030. The program can be used by young families under 35 years of age, single parents, participants in the Far Eastern Hectare program and regional labor mobility programs, medical workers and teachers if they have worked for at least five years in the Far East.
