The People’s Council of the Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR) adopted a law that establishes the procedure for choosing the head of the subject. Russian President Vladimir Putin will present three candidates for the post of head of the LPR, and then regional deputies will choose one of them by secret ballot. This was announced by the chairman of the People’s Council of the LPR Denis Miroshnichenko.

“The head of the LPR is elected by the deputies of the National Assembly of the LPR from among three candidates presented by the President of the Russian Federation, and the election of the head of the LPR is carried out by secret ballot,” the message says.
