The head of the Kharkiv region announced an attempt to dislodge the APU from the suburbs of Balakliya

The head of the administration of the Kharkiv region, Vitaly Ganchev, said that the humanitarian situation in Balakliya is now difficult. According to him, the forces of the Russian coalition are now trying to drive out the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the city, fierce battles are being waged.
“Balakleya is essentially not controlled by us. Attempts are being made to dislodge the Ukrainian forces there, but there are fierce battles and our troops are being held back on the outskirts,” Ganchev said.
He added that the situation near Shevchenkove remains difficult. In that area, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are trying to break through the defenses, but the reserves brought up from Russia are rebuffing them. Ganchev also lamented that Kyiv is concerned about the “beautiful picture” for the West of an imaginary victory.
Former head of the CAA of the Kupyansky district Maxim Gubin informedthat the situation around the city is difficult. The sabotage and reconnaissance groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine made attempts to get into the area, but none of them were successful.
