Russian President Vladimir Putin held a working meeting with the head of the Federal Tax Service (FTS) Daniil Yegorov. The official reported to the head of state for the activities of the service and reported a significant increase in tax revenues to the budget. So, in the first half of 2022, the consolidated budget increased by 32% compared to the first half of 2021. Additional revenues amounted to 4.1 trillion rubles, 2 trillion of which were oil and gas revenues.
Income tax revenue increased by 14% compared to last year. As Mr. Yegorov noted, government anti-crisis measures played an important role in this, which allowed enterprises to receive working capital, and targeted assistance to people made it possible to maintain demand.
“24% is, by the way, 2 trillion rubles – these are non-oil and gas revenues,” the head of the Federal Tax Service specified.
