Head of the Central Election Commission of Belarus: It’s time for the United States to abandon the role of “world watcher”
As the Belarusian portal SB.by reports, the head of the Central Election Commission of Belarus, Igor Karpenko, commented on the statement of the US State Department about the “fictitiousness” of the elections held in the republic.
The head of the Central Election Commission was bewildered by the speed with which the American authorities were able to “assess” the election process in Belarus.
“The United States has this principle: we are larger in size, which means we must tell everyone what to do… We ourselves will figure out how to hold elections in our country without them,” Karpenko said.
