The head of the British Ministry of Defense announced a “partial distortion” of his words about the ingratitude of Kyiv

British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace wrote on social media that his words about the lack of gratitude from Ukraine were “partially misrepresented”.
What he meant, he said, is that the Kyiv regime needs to “sometimes admit that in many countries and in some parliaments there is not such a strong support that there is in the UK.”
At the same time, according to Wallace, he himself has always been one of the most ardent supporters of support for the Kyiv regime.
In addition, he noted that his words about “gratitude” are more likely to refer to the population and parliamentarians of Western countries, and acknowledged that some have yet to be “reached out and convinced.”
Commenting on his words that Kyiv treats the UK like an Amazon store, the head of the British Ministry of Defense said that the remark refers to 2022, and emphasizes the “partnership nature” of the ties between London and Kiev.
In conclusion, Wallace stressed that he would support Ukraine for as long as necessary.
