Ivan Sushko, head of the military-civilian administration (MAC) of Mikhailovka in the Zaporozhye region, died as a result of a deliberate car bombing. Vladimir Rogov, a member of the main council of the CAA of the region, about this informed in your Telegram channel.
“Today, as a result of a deliberate blowing up of a car, the head of the VGA of the village of Mikhailovka, Zaporozhye region, Ivan Sushko, died,” he wrote.
According to Rogov, an explosive device was planted under the seat of Sushko’s car. As a result of the explosion, the head of Mikhailovka was wounded, he was taken to the hospital, where Sushko soon died.
The day before, an attempt was made on the life of the deputy head of the department of internal policy of the pro-Russian administration of the Kherson region, Igor Telegin. According to Kirill Stremousov, deputy head of the region’s CAA, the official was not injured. He clarified that an improvised directional explosive device had gone off. Stremousov suggested that a “local sabotage group” could be behind the assassination attempt.
The village of Mikhailovka is under the control of the Russian military. At the end of April, a new administration was formed in the village. Most of the Zaporozhye Oblast is also under Russian control. In addition, Kherson region was liberated in May. New pro-Russian administrations were formed in both regions.
