Where did the DEG take place?
At the 2023 regional elections, remote electronic voting (DEG) became available in 25 regions, including Moscow, Arkhangelsk, Vladimir, Voronezh, Lipetsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Pskov, Tomsk and Yaroslavl regions, Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Chuvash Republic, Altai Territory , Republic of Crimea and Moscow.
In some regions, DEG will be available only for certain campaigns, these include: Perm Territory, Republic of Karelia, Kamchatka Territory, as well as Belgorod, Kaliningrad, Kursk, Orenburg, Sverdlovsk, Tula and Chelyabinsk regions. Residents of the regions could use the DEG through a special CEC website; to participate, they had to first submit an application on the State Services portal. For citizens registered in Moscow, electronic voting took place on the website of the Moscow Mayor (mos.ru) without submitting applications.
