The Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU) fired at the Kucherovo farm in the Kursk region, said the governor of the region Roman Starovoit in his Telegram channel. The border areas of the region were attacked for the second time in a day.
“Today, the Kucherovo farm of the Belovsky district also came under the shelling of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. At least 10 arrivals were pre-recorded,” — wrote Starovoit.
According to him, there were no casualties as a result of the attack, all the shells fell in the gardens and on the streets. Significant damage, according to the authorities, is not present: only in one non-residential building, glass was shattered as a result of shelling.
Earlier today, the Armed Forces of Ukraine fired on the village of Guevo, Sudzhansky district, Kursk region, no one was injured, informed Starovoit.
Since the beginning of the special operation, the Ukrainian military has been regularly shelling the border regions of Russia. On November 20, the “yellow” (high) level of terrorist threat was extended in the Kursk region until December 6. A similar decision was made by the authorities of the Belgorod region.
This week, Starovoit announced plans to introduce an SMS alert in case of an emergency in border areas.
“To date, we have deployed a regional warning system, the municipal warning system has not yet been brought to working condition. We are now also working on sending SMS with operators, I think this can also be put into operation at the moment, ”said the governor.
More than 1 billion rubles are needed to upgrade the warning system, he added.
