The village of Krasnooktyabrsky, Glushkovsky district, Kursk region, came under mortar fire from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), informed in his Telegram channel, the governor of the region Roman Starovoit.
“12 arrivals were recorded. There were no casualties. Power supply lines were damaged, due to which the village of Krasnooktyabrsky and the neighboring village of Volfino were left without electricity. Emergency brigades are on site, power supply will be restored in the near future,” he wrote.

After the start of the special operation, the Ukrainian military began to regularly shell the border regions of Russia. On October 19, by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, a medium level of response was introduced in eight border regions, including Crimea, Sevastopol, Belgorod and Kursk regions.
In addition, the Kursk region has a “yellow” (high) level of terrorist threat, this week the authorities of the region extended this regime until February 4.
