The Governor of the Khabarovsk Territory instructed to expand the list of backbone enterprises

The governor of the Khabarovsk Territory, Mikhail Degtyarev, said that socio-economic stability should be ensured in the region, the entire sector of the economy should work, and not just enterprises of the military-industrial complex. To this end, the head ordered to expand the list of backbone enterprises. This is reported in Telegram channel Mikhail Degtyarev.

“We are changing our approach to the list of backbone enterprises. I instructed to supplement the list with important organizations in the field of healthcare and education, utilities, transport, agriculture, media, IT and communications,” Mikhail Degtyarev said at a meeting in the regional government.

He noted that the expansion must be “very fast”, “the system must be flexible and attentive to the aspirations of the people and to the situation that is developing on the ground.” According to him, delays can have a critical impact on the economy and on all residents of the region.

The list of backbone enterprises of the Khabarovsk Territory includes 88 companies, including 21 independent organizations and 67 as part of vertically integrated ones. In the summer of 2022, another 16 companies were added to the list, including transport, engineering, military-industrial and forestry enterprises, trade, and medicines.

Backbone enterprises can apply for preferential loans up to 30 billion rubles. at a rate of 11%.

Earlier, the Ministry of Defense named the industries whose workers will be exempted from partial mobilization. At the moment, such employees include employees of the military-industrial complex, the information technology sector, Russian telecom operators, the financial sector, backbone organizations in the field of information, including the media. Other businesses are also requesting a deferral for their employees.
