The Governor of Sevastopol called fake reports of covert mobilization

Online reports that they are allegedly preparing for covert mobilization in Crimea are fake, their goal is to sow panic. About it informed Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev in his Telegram channel.

“Another fake is dispersed today by the cisco workers. Allegedly, on the peninsula they are preparing for covert mobilization, and in Sevastopol they began to call people who have reservations to the military registration and enlistment offices. Of course it’s a lie!” he wrote.

Razvozhaev explained that from January 23, the region will begin accepting applications for a deferment from the spring draft for IT specialists. The governor noted that the purpose of the enemy is to sow panic. He also urged to trust only information from trusted sources.

Partial mobilization took place in Russia from September 21 to October 31, 2022. The Ministry of Defense announced plans to call up 300,000 troops, however, according to Russian President Vladimir Putin, 318,000 people were mobilized, as a large number of volunteers wanted to go to the war zone.

After that, the authorities repeatedly stated that the mobilization in Russia was completed, and denied plans to announce a new wave. Earlier today, Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov urged to be guided in this matter by the words of the head of state about the “set point” in mobilization measures.

At the same time, on January 17, a deputy of the Pskov regional assembly from the Yabloko party, Artur Gaiduk, published a response from the presidential administration regarding the cessation of partial mobilization in Russia. They noted that the action of the decree continues. Peskov promised to clarify this issue.
