The governor of Sevastopol announced the fall of the drone on the roof of the headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet

On Saturday morning, an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) fell on the roof of the headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet, there was no serious damage, Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozzhaev said on his Telegram channel.

Initially, Razvozzhaev said that the drone was flying low and was not shot down, “although they were working on the bay with small arms.” Then the governor clarified that the UAV was still shot down.

“The drone was worked out by the PVN, (post of the air defense of the fleet). They shot down an UAV right above the fleet headquarters. It fell on the roof and caught fire. There was no defeat, wrote Razvozzhaev.

According to the governor, the approaches and entrances to the headquarters were blocked by the police. He urged residents to stay at home for an hour after the incident.

The day before because of a drone in Sevastopol worked air defense system (air defense). Prior to this, Razvozhaev reported a downed drone near the Belbek airport. No casualties or damage were recorded. On Friday, the air defense system worked in Evpatoria.
