Russian air defense systems shot down a Ukrainian drone over the Navlinsky district of the Bryansk region, informed Governor Alexander Bogomaz in his Telegram channel.

“The air defense forces of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation stopped the attack of Ukrainian terrorists. An aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicle was shot down over the Navlinsky district,” he wrote.

As a result of the incident, no one was injured, and no damage was recorded.

The authorities of the Bryansk region regularly report UAV attacks and shelling from Ukraine. So September 4 Ukrainian drone attacked Klintsovskaya CHPP, but was stopped by means of electronic warfare (EW). Another device was suppressed by electronic warfare in the Vygonichsky district. Before that, about downed aircraft-type drones reported August 31.

Since October 19, 2022, by decree of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, the average level of response has been set in the Bryansk region. A high (“yellow”) level of terrorist threat also operates in the region indefinitely.
