The Russian Government Commission on Legislative Activities did not support the initiative, according to which Russians who have not completed military service are proposed to be exempted from partial mobilization.
The bill was developed by the deputy from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Mikhail Matveev.
The commission stated that the defense of the Fatherland in accordance with the Constitution of Russia is the duty and obligation of every citizen. The expansion of the list of categories of citizens entitled to receive a deferment from the call for mobilization is called inexpedient in the draft recall of the commission.
