The government has simplified the procedure for placing summer cafes

The Russian government has expanded the list of objects for which it is not necessary to register the ownership of the site, reported in the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers. The list of such objects included verandas for arranging street cafes and sites for placing construction equipment and materials during the overhaul or current repairs of buildings.

“The owners of restaurants or cafes can equip a site adjacent to the main building without additional procedures. This will be possible provided that the land under the new seats is in state or municipal ownership and has not previously been provided for other purposes,” the press service explained.

Such a measure will support entrepreneurs working in the catering sector, and will also allow building owners to reduce the time for major or current repairs.

Each city has its own rules for placing summer (otherwise – seasonal) verandas and cafes at restaurants. For example, in Moscow, to open such a veranda, you must submit an application, as well as comply with all requirements for the installation of structures. At the same time, you can get the land itself for a seasonal cafe for free and without registration of land-legal relations.

March 15 Head of the Department of Trade and Services of the City of Moscow Alexei Nemeryuk informedthat the work of summer cafes will begin on April 1. Traditionally, the opening season of summer verandas in the capital lasts from April 1 to November 1. Since 2021, the design of summer cafes has been transferred to electronic form.
