The government has extended the state program for the development of the military-industrial complex until 2034, as follows from the published orders. The order comes into force on January 1, 2025.
The original version of the document envisaged the implementation of the state program from 2016 to 2020. In February 2019, the government signed a new decree introducing the second stage of the program – from 2021 to 2027. The 2019 version of the document stated that it was planned to spend 8.6 billion rubles on the implementation of the program from 2021. annually.
Yesterday, February 15, President Vladimir Putin, during a conversation with workers of the Uralvagonzavod in Nizhny Tagil, said that all enterprises of the military-industrial complex (DIC) will definitely be provided with orders. According to him, in the next five to ten years, the defense industry “needs to meet the needs of today and needs to restore all strategic reserves.”
