The allocated funds will provide benefits to more than 10 million children, note in the government press service. The draft federal budget for 2024 provides 1.3 trillion rubles for the payment of a single benefit, the Cabinet of Ministers concluded.
The unified benefit is a measure of social support for parents and pregnant women, which, from January 1, 2023, consolidated previous social payments for children. From 2024, the authorities want to replace with a single benefit all monthly payments that are assigned to families with children under 17 years of age inclusive.
