In Russia, all information about agricultural land will be collected in a single register. A resolution approving a unified procedure for maintaining a register of such lands was signed by the head of the Russian Cabinet, Mikhail Mishustin.
The register will provide detailed, systematized, up-to-date and reliable information about the state of agricultural land, buildings and plots located on it.
The explanatory note to the document states that the resource will help to quickly find opportunities for new agricultural projects, thereby more effectively involving new territories in agriculture and developing the reclamation complex.
By 2030, it is planned to increase the area of agricultural land by 13.2 hectares and keep at least 3.6 million hectares of reclaimed land in agricultural circulation, the explanation says.
Organizations subordinate to the Ministry of Agriculture, authorities, as well as Roscosmos will be required to submit information to the register.
In addition, the resource will be replenished with data based on the results of territory monitoring.
It is also noted that users, owners and tenants of land plots will be able to receive information about them from the register through the public services portal, free of charge.
