The government allocated 34 billion rubles. on subsidies to the regions bordering Ukraine, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at a meeting of the Coordinating Council to meet the needs of the RF Armed Forces.
“A significant amount of tasks solved by the council concerns infrastructure, the creation of fortifications and their engineering equipment. The necessary funding has been allocated for this, including almost 34 billion rubles. on subsidies to the border regions with Ukraine,” quotes Mishustin press service of the Cabinet.
According to him, tactical and technical tasks have been prepared and sent to the performers. Responsible inspectors at the stage of putting objects into operation have already been identified.
The authorities of the border regions began to strengthen their borders against the backdrop of regular shelling of Russian territories by Ukraine. So, at the end of November, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov announced that a border line had begun to form on the border of the region with Ukraine.
In addition, since October 19, by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, eight border regions, including Crimea, the Belgorod and Kursk regions, have been under a “medium response” regime. Martial law has been introduced in the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.
