The German Foreign Ministry ruled out the supply of cluster munitions to Ukraine

Germany will not supply Ukraine with cluster munitions, as it adheres to the Oslo convention banning this type of weapon. This was announced by German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock.
“I followed the media reports. For us, as a participating State, the agreement signed in Oslo applies,” she said (quote according to Reuters).
Thus, Burbock commented on the possibility of Washington supplying cluster munitions to Kyiv. Earlier today, referring to the signed convention, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius also ruled out the supply of such weapons to Kyiv.
The day before, July 6, a number of Western media reported that the White House intends to announce the supply of cluster munitions to Ukraine on Friday, July 7.

The Convention on Cluster Munitions was signed in Oslo in 2008. The document entered into force in 2010. A number of countries refused to sign the agreement. In particular, the convention was not supported by the United States, China and Russia.
After the start of Russia’s special operation in Ukraine, Western countries began to provide financial assistance to Ukraine and supply it with military equipment and weapons. The Russian authorities have repeatedly criticized such supplies, noting the growing direct and indirect involvement of Western countries in the conflict.
