The Federal Security Service called on the Wagner PMC fighters not to follow Prigozhin’s criminal orders and take measures to detain him, the FSB said. The message of the press service of the department leads TASS.

The Investigation Department of the FSB of Russia opened a criminal case on the organization of an armed rebellion against the founder of PMC “Wagner” Yevgeny Prigozhin, reports the Telegram channel of the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Russia.
“A criminal case has been legally and reasonably initiated against Prigozhin E.V. under Article 279 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation on the fact of organizing an armed rebellion,” the report says. The Prosecutor General’s Office added that Prigozhin’s actions “will be given a proper legal assessment.”
The agency recalled that this crime is punishable by imprisonment for a term of 12 to 20 years.
Earlier, the National Anti-Terrorist Committee (NAC) of Russia announced that a criminal case had been opened against Prigozhin for an armed rebellion.
