The design of the new jewelry collection of the Austrian jewelry house Freywille is inspired by one of the most significant paintings of the Renaissance “The Birth of Venus” by the Florentine artist Sandro Botticelli.
Pastel pink flower petals floating in the wind with luscious green leaves and Venus’s golden flowing hair against a delicate color gradient from mint green to light blue, depicted in Freywille’s patented hot enamel technique, became the main motif of the jewelry. In this collection, jewelers added decorative painting with natural gold powder. To draw the golden edging and silver strokes in the image of the scallop shell, gold was also used with the addition of liquid silver.
