An attempt to organize an armed rebellion in Russia plays into the hands of its enemies, Western countries should not try to use the current situation to achieve their Russophobic goals, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation reported.
“We warn Western countries against any hints about the possible use of the internal Russian situation to achieve their Russophobic goals. Such attempts are futile and will not find a response either in Russia or among sane political forces abroad,” the message says.
The department added that “in the near future the situation will find its solution, worthy of the age-old wisdom of the Russian people and the Russian State.”
The message also emphasizes that Russia will continue its sovereign course of ensuring security, protecting values and interests. Moscow highly appreciates the understanding of this position by allies and international partners.
